Goals are tough. At the time where most people are letting their new year's resolutions get away from them, this is the time that it is hardest to stick to everything you said you would. If you're in school, this is the longest you have to go without a break. It's that weird time of year where one day is 2º and then the next is 60º. We all get caught up in the same old same old, and if you're like me, get exhausted and want to nap instead of actually doing things and I need a way to recharge.
This time of year is the best gift. You have the opportunity to rejuvenate your goals, and get back to what you should be doing. So set a goal and stick to it. But don't be unrealistic, pick a smaller goal that is achievable in a timely manner. The more smaller goals that you can accomplish will build your confidence in yourself to make these goals bigger and bigger. Tell a lot of people about what you plan on achieving so that you feel more obliged to stick to it. You should be proud of having a goal to work towards! It shows how driven you are and you can prove you're a badass bitch who gets shit done.
Work like a bitch towards your goal. My grandfather always says "If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing right". And he's right, don't waste your time doing something if you're only going to half-ass it. If you're studying for an exam, you're not going to study for a C, you're going to work your butt off for that A.
Stick to your goals. Be a bitch, because in the wise words of Tina Fey...
