So back to gauc! The only road block you might find with this recipe is getting the avocados. Thankfully, I have a really nice little grocery store on campus that has good fresh produce so I can buy my avocados there. I also know you can order them on Amazon, but I found that those are ridiculously priced and probably not worth the money. So once you have the avocados, all you need are some tomatoes, lime juice, salt and pepper! The best part about this recipe is that you can literally add anything to it! I would suggest mango or pineapple, but that's just me! Also, if you have some cilantro to add, I would do that too, but I unfortunately couldn't find that at my store.
All you need:
1 small tomato
salt and pepper ( I use Jane's Mixed Up Salt)
anything you want to add
All you need to do:
Get a bowl, tupperware, mug or whatever can hold guac, chop up the tomatoes and avocados, squash them a little with a fork, and mix the lime and salt to taste! I prefer my guac a little chunky, but my roommate prefers it smooth so once we split up the batch she mashed hers even more.
I know living in a dorm and living off dining court food sucks (believe me, I don't care how good your dining court is supposed to be, after a certain point, you just NEED a home cooked meal), but you don't have to suffer forever! Get creative, and let me know what you try out!
