So about getting shit done: you need to be organized. I swear it doesn't take much longer to do and it will save you so much time in the long run. Keeping a clear mind is important, and that means keeping your room clean and clear. It takes like what, 30 extra seconds to fold your sweater that you wore that day and put it away? Think about how much less clutter there would be if you just washed dishes as you used them, folded and put away clothes, and just picked up a little bit everyday. Everything has its place so put it there!
It took me about 15 minutes to write out my schedule last night for the rest of the week, and that will optimize my days. Scheduling a run or workout is also super important too so that you know you have time and there is no excuse.
You can see I also included my bedtime (no later!). This is so I make sure I get plenty of sleep, making it easier to get up and feeling way more awake the next day! Over sleeping and under-sleeping have pretty much the same effect on me so it's important to wake up around the same time every day (except for Tuesday's because I have a 7:30 class those days), even on the weekends! Think about how much more time in the day you will have if you don't sleep in until 11 or 12!
Also, make sure you're eating healthy and drinking TONS of water. You need about 64 oz each day and it will keep you healthy so you can get everything done! When I wasn't drinking my water earlier in the semester I was constantly sick. Don't be like me!
It's all about keeping a healthy, clear, and happy mind. That's the key to success, no matter what point in your life you're at. If that means you have to run every day or do yoga every day or just really try to keep your desk uncluttered, then that's what you have to do.
