So as seasoned travelers, Cait and I have come up with a list of travel tips that'll make your holiday travels a little easier.
Before you leave for the airport
Download your favorite Netflix shows and movies- okay I am so excited about this one. It's their newest feature that allows you to download shows onto your mobile device when you're connected to Wifi (like Spotify premium!!) and then you can watch them offline! Highly recommended for long flights (or just boring ones).
Check check check your flight status. You do not want to be left at the airport or stuck there for hours!!
Don't forget the basics: headphones, snacks, hand lotion, sweatshirt/sweater in case you get cold, and a portable charger (that's charged up!!)
At the airport
If you want to buy snacks- go a little further than right after security, food usually becomes cheaper!! But don't get all the way to your gate and not get snacks (it's a tough balance), because then you won't want to go all the way back.
Check the flight status board again- gates change and so do flights, you can never be too careful!
On the plane
Sit back, relax, and be nice to people- your flight attendants have to deal with some pretty crappy people, don't make it worse for them. You being nice to them will only benefit everyone around you.
